Suli is a comic-actor and screenwriter. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of “Crazy Legs” in the spoof movie Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, and for his recurring role as “Mouse” on the WB sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show. Suli is the author of “150 Ways to Tell If You’re Getto.”

Suli chats with Stevie D. about his stand-up career, which began while he was still a student at UCLA. Jerry Seinfeld did a special concert at UCLA and Suli opened for him & was immediately signed by his managers. Suli also confesses how he got the nickname Chicken Arms when this little girl called him Chicken Arms one day when Suli was Shooting baskets all by himself at a local YMCA. And, recently, Suli did some shows with his long-time friend, Dave Chappelle.

Suli’s comedy is quirky and very much driven by his point of view. He talks about everything from growing up the oldest of seven & fighting over the banana with the sticker on it – to how his teenage daughter is madly in love with Chris Brown! It’s the world according to Suli.

Suli was Mouse on The Jamie Foxx Show and Crazy Legs (The dude in the wheelchair!) in a Wayans Bros. spoof. But, did you know he was a writer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, & Lopez Tonight and a guest writer on SNL? Good going, Suli!
