Yannus Sufandi
Yannus is an international actor, choreographer and model from Java, Indonesia. He is now based in Los Angeles, California. His career as a choreographer spans many years. He is best known for his work with The X Factor (USA) Live Show for Paula Abdul’s Team and NBC’s The Voice as The Official Performance Consultant/Choreographer. Before he moved to the United States he worked on So You Think You Can Dance in Australia and Malaysia where he was a guest judge and the artistic director of the show. He recently spent 2014 as a guest judge on Simon Cowell’s Indonesia’s Got Talent.
He was also the judge on the huge hit tv show called The Dance Icon on SCTV Network Indonesia season 1 in 2015, and he also got to regular judge DT3RONG tv show season 2 on Indosiar Network. Basically judging on 2 tv shows of the top and biggest tv station networks in Indonesia, SCTV and Indosiar.
Yannus has choreographed for film, commercials, stage and music videos. He choreographed the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in Australia and various other international events. TV commercials he has worked on include 7UP, Raymond Weil Geneve, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Peugeot, High 5 Bread, Smirnoff Ice, and FINK – an Australian feature film. In addition he is attributed with artist development, artistic direction and production choreography for stage performances and music videos for many signed and unsigned artists working with Sony Music, Virgin Music, Warner Music, Universal Records and many independent labe.
Yannus has performed with touring productions such as Rumba Australian Tours, Martell VSOP Malaysian Tours, and Vietnamese Pop Paris by Night. On stage for televised productions he has been with acts such as the AMA (American Music Awards) for PINK, Dancing With The Stars with Mary J Blige, Aria (Australian Music Awards), Urban Music Awards and OZ Music Awards. His music video credit’s include Jennifer Lopez’s Papi and On The Floor, Swizz Beatz ft Alicia Keys’ International Party, Sugababes’ Shape, and many more. He has performed in support with acts and promotional tours for Destinys Child, Black Eyed Peas, Pharrel, Fatman Scoop and Mis-Teeq. He has also performed for world leaders at APEC 2007 as well as corporate performances for Coca-Cola, Visa, Microsoft, Adidas, Vodafone, EA (Electronic Arts), Castrol Edge, A1 Grand Prix Australia, Nike, Philips and many more.
As a Model, Yannus’ credits range from the catwalk to posters and billboards to catalogues for companies such as Sony, Adidas, Diesel, G-Star, D&G, Emporio Armani, Industrie, Taro Cash, True Religion Jeans, Fashion Parades, Strathfield Car Radios, Epson, Sydney Fashion Week, Sydney 2000 Olympic Uniforms, FHM Magazine, Petronas, BMW and many more.
